The Rotterdam Fire District #2 Ladies Auxiliary originated from the combination of the Edgewood Hose Company and Beverly Hose Company's ladies auxiliaries. Officially the 2 auxiliaries combined in 1955 creating Rotterdam Fire District #2 Ladies Auxiliary. The main purpose of this organization is to provide support to the firefighters in whatever task that needs to be completed. This could be from assisting with social functions, setting up for events (open houses), and to even provide food and drink when called on at major incidents. Our ladies have been a constant source of support to the Fire Department since its origination and we are truly grateful.
